Idle Works is a small personal app made by Kurtis Melby. Here is what it keeps and why.
What we collect
Your email address, which is how you sign in, and what you write in the app: journal entries, goals, routines, notes, chat messages, and the preferences you set.
How it is used
To run the app. What you write, along with your preferences, is sent to Google's Gemini AI to produce the app's replies, summaries and weekly reports. If you dictate, Apple's speech recognition transcribes your voice. Beyond those, we use ordinary service providers for email delivery and hosting. Every provider we use is bound to protect your data at least as well as this policy says.
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing about you is sold.
Deleting your data
Everything is kept for as long as your account exists. To end that, choose delete account from the menu on the app's home screen: your account and everything you wrote are removed at once. Or email the address below and it will be done for you.
